About Book Club

Have you ever wondered how on earth to live in the world in our time? Join the club. No, but literally, join the book club.

Join us this term to read a contemporary book Against the Machine: The Unmaking of Humanity by Paul Kingsnorth. We will meet monthly on the 4th Wednesday to discuss a few chapters at a time, working our way slowly through the book between January and May. Together with Kingsnorth, we will think about what it means to live in our time and be shaped by presence within our technological systems and economies.

All are welcome and should feel free to bring any friends brave enough to think about the challenge of becoming human in our time.
